The 1 1/2 minute gestures below were made with charcoal pencil on newsprint. Approximate paper size 12" x 18".

For the following 20-minute drawings, charcoal pencil was used over a toned ground of vine charcoal on Strathmore paper. Approximate paper size 18" x 24" (cropped detail portions where noted).
